The spec sheet on the Nokia N8 mentions ‘Active Hyper-focal Distance’ as the method used by it during video capture and unless you did some research on your own, I’m sure all of you are wondering how exactly does it work (I was). The N97 Gets Updated To v22

The N97 Classic has just received an update in the form of a the v22.0.110 firmware. The update is a 4.9 MB download over the air and the new firmware will soon also be available via the Nokia Software Updater. In addition to bug fixes and general speed  improvements, v22 comes with Ovi Maps 3.3 pre-loaded so you don’t need to install it separately if you want free navigation

Multitasking: The N8 Can Handle 15 Apps Without A Lag

We’ve lately been getting our N8 fix pretty regularly and the latest video to show up is that of the N8’s multitasking abilities. The device features a completely new visual task manager which gives you an actual preview of the current state of the application right from the task manager’s thumbnails. If you have a number of apps open, it may be a little more time consuming to switch between applications because you might have to scroll a little to find the app you are looking for, but I have got to say it looks much nicer this way

After 12 hours of non stop video editing and almost 24 hours of non stop work on the N97 Mini Trunk Challenges, it looks like we might just be able to get all the challenges in before the deadline expires later today.
