Bill Perry of Nokia’s just published the latest Ovi Store stats for the month of June , what is missing is figures like total number of downloads, growth vis-a-vis last month and so on, but his post does provide an insight into the handsets people are using to download content off the Ovi Store. Off the cuff when you think of apps stores, you think of (at least I do) people with high end smartphones busy downloading the latest apps but in reality as these stats show, its about the volume which comes from low-mid end devices that may or may not be smartphones. One thing that I have noted over the last few years is that the average guy on the street may have no clue what apps are, but if you look at his phone, he will have a few custom themes on it and I can image such would be items people are downloading off the Ovi Store for devices like the Nokia 2700 Classic.

i pre ordered the iPhone 4 from att and well i still havent gotten a shipping email. i pre ordered at 4 am central time on the 15th and well im just wondering why i havent gotten anything. the last email i received was the thank you for ordering and my order was being processed.

I had a Metro PCS phone and my friend downloaded her ringtones from the internet (she has Metro PCS to) but you had to go online and downloaded them now I have T-mobile with no internet but i have a pc and a laptop i tried sending it to my new phone but its wont work and my mom blocked like those weird texts because i used to Kgb alot but how can i send Myxer ringtones to my phone as a Picture message and not going online with my phone!! (I repeat i have NO internet;(boo hoo )

does rogers have 4g coverage?

I can call any other overseas place with my tracphone but not Scotland because its not on there list or whatever, is there anyway to work my way around this so i can actually call from my tracphone?

I’m getting a new phone from Verizon soon, and I needed a little help. I’m a pretty big texter, and I really hate my current phone because there’s a limit on the number of text messages I can keep—the phone can’t hold more than 1000 texts in the inbox and sent messages folders combined, and I have to constantly delete messages. I’m looking forward to getting a Verizon phone that doesn’t require a data contract, that has a QWERTY keyboard, and that doesn’t have a limit on the number of text messages I can keep on my phone (or has a HUGE limit—say, 2,000+—that wouldn’t bother me).

hi, i am trying to get a touch screen/external keyboard phone. I already have a family contract with t-mobile. I need wifi, good texting keys, unfortunately i can’t afford the web charges with t-mobile for the smart phones, where can i possibly get a good phone for less and maybe unlocked without me dealing with t-mobile directly?
