Nokia’s just recently released the E73 ‘Mode’ for T-Mobile in the US. It is basically the E72 with some styling differences and support for T-Mobile’s 3G bands

Part two of the N8 demo that Nokia Conversations promised has landed and it sees Chris Bennetts, Senior Project Manager at Nokia show off pinch and zoom for 12 MP stills, the photo editor, the video editor and USB on the go.

We’ve lately been getting our N8 fix pretty regularly and the latest video to show up is that of the N8’s multitasking abilities. The device features a completely new visual task manager which gives you an actual preview of the current state of the application right from the task manager’s thumbnails. If you have a number of apps open, it may be a little more time consuming to switch between applications because you might have to scroll a little to find the app you are looking for, but I have got to say it looks much nicer this way

This alliance is a statement that Yahoo admits that they were not doing too well with Maps and Navigation, while Nokia accepted that they didn’t have a compelling Ovi Mail and Chat service; and that to fix this lacuna both companies have decided to join hands. The result is that Nokia will now power Yahoo!’s maps and navigation services, integrating Ovi Maps across Yahoo! properties, with the “powered by Ovi” branding.

One of Nokia’s most compelling services, Ovi Maps, has just been updated to version 3.04 . The update aims to brings even an even faster GPS fix irrespective of whether you are in the mall, on the street surrounded by skyscrapers or driving on an open highway by integrating Wi-Fi positioning.
