i’m starting up an att plan shortly and i called and asked if it mattered if i have no credit, they told me there is a deposit that you put down anywhere from $100 and up.

Has anyone else had this problem with there iPhone 3G and fixed it without help from Apple? My phone still works, but when this message pops up, it disables the sound, and there is no output sound or sound with earphones, and the volume scroller bar on the bottom of the iPod is gone. I’ve tried cleaning out the plug-in with compressed air, but no luck.

I have a verizon phone I bought from a girl I know and she deactivated the phone but the number is still on the phone under her plan and charged her 160.00 and since she has a fee I cant activate the phone she sold me to my number. Is there any way around this, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Please fix this problem for all of us who updated without knowing apple had launched a new firmware and upgraded the baseband from 5.11.7 to 5.12.1 thanks.
